1) New Titles A-Plenty
We have loads of new titles this month – everything from The Little, Brown essential handbook for writers to The Rise of modern philosophy to e-Business 2.0 : roadmap for success. 2) New Databases – a plethora of them!
Several new and thrilling e-resources have been added to TheBRAIN recently:
eCPS: the handy guide to drugs available in Canada from the Canadian Pharmacists Association is now online! Check out the new drug products, new drugs on the market, drugs removed from the market and more! Access this database from our Health Sciences page!
For the Business folks, we’ve recently added the Ernst & Young Tax Calculator and Tax Rates…a riveting read for the accountants among us! Find this gem on the e-books page.
All it takes is a few clicks and you’re watching a video on your desktop or on a classroom PC, projected to the whole class. Mosby’s Nursing Skills (Potter & Perry) is the popular title we’ve chosen to use in the brand new streaming video pilot project. You can keyword search or browse a list of titles in the series. 3) Trial Databases in abundance!

For the month of October, the Library@Mohawk is conducting a survey of Mohawk College students! This survey will help us to better understand the research needs of our students…please encourage them to fill it out. Three lucky students who fill out the survey will win an iPod shuffle!
