Bored by Copyright? Don’t yawn like Owen the Cat. There is lots of good news for educators on the copyright front. Mohawk College has a new Copyright Policy. It makes it easy to know what you can copy for your f2f classes and in eLearn. Canadian copyright law was updated at the end of 2012 and educational use is now recognized as a fair dealing exception in our law. Be careful! That doesn’t mean you can use whatever you like. There are limits. Want to read the new policy? Want to learn more? The policy and lots of other copyright information and resources are available on the Mohawk College Copyright Guide. Subscribe to the RSS feed to get news when the guide is updated.
Or come to a Copyright Workshop, we have dates for drop-in sessions and we will do one upon request (see the contact information on the Copyright Guide).
